We have left The Anza-Borrego Park with many fond memories of both the people we met and the many great hikes. In Brawley we stocked up on fuel and food for another week or so and then stayed overnight at the Corvina Beach State park on Salton Sea. This is only the second time since we left home that we have had to pay for an overnight stop. ( $8.00 each time) . It was such a nice spot we just couldn't pass it up.
