Jan 2 Home to Port Huron

We got away a bit late this morning as Rose had a hair appointment at 9am and then a top up of propane to make sure we could stay warm tonight.  We had a great day to travel, dry roads and not to much traffic.  We left Carleton place at 10:15 and arrives at the border around 6:30. Our officer was really pleasant and allowed us through with a couple of oranges and mango's that were not allowed. We have a list for the next time. She was very happy with our list of frozen products including chops, spaghetti sauce and a whole lot more.  Generally as long as you tell them they are pretty reasonable.
We are parked for the night at the Super Walmart, gassed up and ready for another good travel day tomorrow.
