Feb 19 Bonnie and Clyde Museum - Duck Dynasty

We stopped at this park to empty our holding tanks because we have been doing a lot of boon docking. What was supposed to be a 15 minute stop ended up being an hour or more. We had a great chat with the park ranger, he wouldn't take any money for the use of their facilities. We then had a long conversation with one of the park workers about all of the local customs, dialects, and naturally the food. He told us that we absolutely had to stop at the Duck Dynasty store where the show was recorded. He chuckled as he told us that when he went to high school with them in Monroe they were clean cut and looked just like every one else. The outdoorsy look came along about the time of the TV show. He said the show was obviously scripted but that it did reflect the kind of people they were.
This town in near where Bonnie and Clyde were shot down by the posse.
It is early spring and it was the first time we saw daffodils in bloom.
It was befitting as they are the daffodil capital of Louisiana.

We got our picture taken with the owner of the museum.
Not a great museum but it was fun.

We were not supposed to take picture inside the museum,
but we took in a couple.

This is the car that they were in when they were shot.
It has a total of 53 bullet holes in it.

Welcome to Duck Dynasty

Outside the store they have this motor home parked.
Obvious for photos
