Providence Canyon State Park
is known as Georgia's Mini Grand Canyon

The picture of the sand in the background is actually a framed show case so show  
of all the different colours of sand in the canyon |

| It is spring here so the leaves are just starting to bud. Mostly oak and pine trees | 
|  | 
| 
We had to walk about 1/4 of a mile through this red mud in the bottom of the canyon 
The ground is a reddish brown through out most of Georgia due to the high iron content |
