March 12 Gallup

Visited the Meteor Crater and and on to Gallup

We needed an oil change that became became a project. Loves only do larger units, they sent me to Walmart who didn't have a high enough door, they sent me to Pep Boys , but their door wasn't high enough , they sent me to Point S who does their heavy equipment but their lift didn't have enough clearance  for our door step, they who sent me to Jiffy Lube who did a great job. The best part was that everyone really did a good job of helping us out to find another place to help us out.

We had to change our air filter because there was a mouse nest in it. To funny, the staff had me remove it as they didn't want to touch it. Lots of laughs !!

A visit to Meteor Crater

The world's best preserved meteorite impact site on Earth.  Located just minutes from Interstate 40 and the old Route 66 in Northern Arizona near Winslow.  Meteor Crater is the spectacular result of a collision that rocked the American Southwest approximately 50,000 years ago with the energy of more than 20 million tons of TNT.

Perhaps it was a Canadian mouse who also likes 'to go south' to enjoy some warmer weather.
